Muhammad Ali Jinnah (1876-1948) was a Pakistani politician and leader who is considered the founder of Pakistan. He was a lawyer by profession and a member of the Indian National Congress, but later became the leader of the Muslim League, which was a political party that advocated for the rights of Muslims in British India. He is also known as Quaid-e-Azam which is an Urdu term meaning "Great Leader".

Jinnah campaigned for the creation of an independent Muslim state in British India, which led to the partition of India in 1947 and the formation of Pakistan. He served as the first Governor General of Pakistan and played a key role in shaping the country's political and economic policies. He passed away on September 11, 1948, just a year after Pakistan was formed. He is considered a national hero in Pakistan and his birthday is celebrated as a national holiday in the country.
